What an experience! I had the best time at my friend’s surprise hen do tufting! I never expected to enjoy myself as much as I did, and it was all down to the hospitality and kindness of Bijan and his colleague. They were super helpful and knowledgeable about the craft, it was really inspiring. Our group were treated so well where the studio was completely booked out for us (we’re so lucky, thank you!) and eventhough we massively ran over time, Bijan and his colleague were so accommodating and patient until all of our rugs were finished. What Happens at Your Hen Party Tufting Session
Relaxed, guided, 3.5 hours start to finish.Your tutor greets the group, settles everyone into the studio and talks you through how the session works. You will see finished rug examples, choose or adapt your designs, and pick from 90+ yarn colours before you start tufting.
Each guest gets hands-on time with the tufting gun. Your tutor shows you how to use the equipment safely and confidently, then stays nearby throughout the session to help with technique, colour choices and tricky details.
This is where the group really settles in. Everyone works at their own pace on their own design, while the conversation flows and the rugs start to come to life. It is creative without feeling pressured.
Once the tufting is complete, your tutor helps secure the backing and finish each rug. Every guest leaves with a fully finished handmade rug on the day - no waiting, no postage, and no unfinished project to collect later.
